WOOD TV8 is looking for a Digital Video Producer. A key member of TV station’s digital team, this role involves live and edited video production and distribution using various platforms and techniques. Video everywhere is the goal for this position, and we are looking for a self-directed individual who can work with digital content producers and reporters each day on creating a variety of videos for web stories and social media. This person will also work on creating and updating our growing evergreen video library, video on demand content, seeking out user generated content and developing exclusive video content for all of our distribution channels. You’ll work alongside and collaborate with digital content creators and digital reporters, news reporters, anchors, producers, and other members of the newsroom to create informative and important content for viewers across West Michigan. Basic journalism writing and editing is necessary for this position.
